Species is a 1995 horror film featuring Natasha Henstridge.

8 out of 10 stars. Still scary twenty years later.

Scientists at SETI receive two transmissions from outer space. One is a renewable fuel with no pollution. The other is a sample of alien DNA with instructions on combining it with human DNA. In a super secret government lab that’s exactly what they do–combine a human female ova with the alien DNA to make an alien-human hybrid named Sil.

When the scientists deem Sil too deadly they try to exterminate her. Now a teenager, she breaks free and escapes the compound. So the government brings in a biologist, a mercenary, a sociologist, and an empath to hunt and kill her.

Very scary and Natasha Henstridge is completely watchable. Michelle Williams is the alien as a teenager, very beautiful. This is what she looked like before Hollywood got hold of her.

8 out of 10 stars. Species 2 is even better.
