Painting with Watercolor, Ink and Pen by Claudia Nice is the best watercolor book out there. This is her 221 tome with every technique she uses. Through the years she has added another 13 books to her name, but this is the one to start with. This is the watercolor bible.
10 out of 10 stars.

Chapter 3: The Look of Transparency
Chapter 4: Metallic Impressions
Chapter 5: Earth and Stone Textures
Chapter 6: Skies and Weather
Chapter 7: Woodgrain Patterns

From the above Table of Contents you can see that she literally includes everything in this book. Over the years, she’s released books that specifically address water, flowers, gardens, trees, people, animals, and buildings. But really this is the only book you need.
10 out of 10 stars. Still my favorite watercolor book. It has it all.
