October Faction is a really dumb 2020 TV series.
0 out of 10 stars. I try to give anything I’ve watched at least two stars. This wasn’t even worthy of that.
The plot begins with an old white guy and his black wife and their children driving to a huge mansion they’ve just inherited. The man’s father has just died and given them the mansion, which is quite hideous inside.
The mansion is supposed to be somewhere in the United States. It’s not. It’s quite obviously filmed in another country and the actors are all British or Canadian so they didn’t even come close to looking American. The teenagers in particular were really bad actors, using slang an American kid would never use.
It turns out the couple are agents of a clandestine organization called Presidio which is very vague. But it appears they are some type of creature hunters.
