Joy of Zentangle is a well-rounded book on tangling and making zentangles.
8 out of 10 stars. This is my favorite zentangle book out of the dozen that I’ve read. The tangles given are attractive and easy to do without much thought (the key to tangling). I also like the zentangle examples that were given. Most of them are attractive enough to be framed. 😉

There weren’t as many zentangles in this book as the previous books I read, but that’s because so much time is spent demonstrating a large number of tangles. I’d rather have the tangles. Here were my favorites:
8 out of 10 stars. I liked the one I got from the library enough to buy my own. I can’t think of better praise than that. It’s not perfect, but it’s got enough to keep me busy for weeks. 🙂
