Hotel Del Luna is a 2019 Korean TV drama about a unique hotel that caters to ghosts.

8 out of 10 stars.  What makes this series wonderful are the unique stories of the dead and how the manager and other staff help them heal and move on.

Hotel Del Luna is a hotel for ghosts run by a ancient ghost, Man Wol, who committed so many sins (mostly horrific murders) that she’s punished by running the hotel for more than 1,000 years.  Whenever she can she blackmails the living from the dead’s secrets to fund her lavish lifestyle.  But she’s not all bad.  She helps exact revenge on many of the people responsible for kililng the dead.  And so do the other people who work in the hotel.  That’s what makes this series shine.  I particularly like the train through the car revenge in Episode 7 for the guy who secretly videotaped a woman and broadcast it all over the internet until she killed herself.  I also like the story of the bellhop, Ji Hoon, and his little sister.

The first few episodes start out slowly focusing almost entirely on Man Wol, the general manager, and the young boy who grows to a young man whom she enlists to become her new manager, Chan Seong.  They soon discover that they knew each other in a previous life.

The series consists of 16 one-hour episodes.

8 out of 10 stars.  Beautifully written and made.
