2:22 is a 2017 film about reincarnation and changing your fate.

8 out of 10 stars.  A cool plot and a happy ending.  🙂

Dylan is an air traffic controller and Sarah works in an art gallery.  The day they meet he saves her life.  Two planes are about to collide and his actions save her from certain death.  After that day, they keep bumping into each other and eventually begin a relationship.  From the beginning, Dylan senses that he has met Sarah before.  Coincidentally he finds love letters in his loft from the previous resident to his love.  The more he falls in love with Sarah the more he becomes certain he has known her before in a previous life.  That becomes tied to the previous resident of his loft.

What makes this film interesting are the details of their previous lives (and deaths) and the connection to the current timeline, all which center around 2:22 pm.  That was when Sarah’s previous self was murdered and Dylan’s previous self was framed for her murder.  Now events seem to be repeating history as Sarah has a stalker just like her previous self and he is intent on killing her and framing Dylan for her murder.

Worth watching.  If you like the reincarnation theme, read The Reincarnation of Peter Proud.

8 out of 10 stars.  Reincarnation done well.
